I tried the spicy chicken sandwich at Sweet Chick, and while it was good, it didn't have the expected heat I was hoping for. The chicken was juicy and well-cooked, but overall, the sandwich felt pretty standard--nothing really stood out. If you're looking for a solid chicken sandwich without much spice, this could work, but don't expect anything extraordinary. On the plus side, I ordered it for delivery and it arrived warm.
My buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious. As well as the power slaw and my girlfriend lemon pepper chicken sandwich I tasted. I look forward to eating more off the menu. They play hip, rap, pop music, rnb Lemon pepper sandwich at top was good but I really enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sandwich because of the sharp blue cheese taste against the buffalo flavored chicken which was a good contrast in taste. Power slaw is the salad, mixed greens and don't have mayo or not a lot. I don't like cold slaw but this was alright for me.
Always a great time at Sweet Chick. The food is so good. Vibes are solid, music is on point and service is quick. Got the fish sandwich this time around and was super impressed. Highly recommended.
We were in the mood for comfort food and headed to Sweet Chick. Amazing fried chicken with crispy flaky crust and juicy meat, and waffles that rival any breakfast restaurant and the biscuit was dense with just a hint of salt. The mac and cheese, the cheese grits and slaw were nice complements to the fried chicken. I have had epic fried chicken at Strouds which is well known Kansas City institution for fried chicken and Sweet Chick is definitely in the mix for being considered one of the top fried chicken restaurants in the country, at least in my book! And our server Cait was super!
My daughter were in town for a quick visit and we were looking for a good breakfast. So the word on the street was this is the best ! And it really was ! Wish we could have tried it all . The biscuits were delicious, even my 8 year old ate everything! Only downfall is that the music was definitely not appreciated for amount of kids that were in there .
